Color Safari — Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 12, 2026

Color Safari is a kids' app made to be played, not tracked. Here is the whole policy in one sentence: we collect nothing.

What we collect

Nothing. Color Safari has no accounts, no sign-ups, no analytics, no advertising, no third-party SDKs, and no network features. The app never sends any data off your device — it doesn't even need an internet connection to play.

Camera usage

Color Safari asks for camera permission for exactly one purpose: live color sampling. While you hunt, the app reads the average color at the center of the viewfinder to power the match-meter. Camera frames are processed in memory in the moment and are never stored, saved to your photo library, or transmitted anywhere. The app takes no photos and records no video.

Data storage

Everything Color Safari creates — captured colors, where-found notes, paintings, streaks, points, and Color IQ — is stored only on your device. Deleting the app deletes all of it. We have no servers and no copy of anything.

Children's privacy (COPPA)

Color Safari is designed for children and complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) the simple way: we do not collect, store, or share any personal information from anyone, child or adult. There are no ads, no in-app purchases, no external links, and no social features.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Since the app collects nothing, we don't expect it to change much.
