Compass Quest asks for permission to use your device's location and compass. This is used solely to calculate, on your device, the direction and distance from you to world landmarks. The location is rounded to roughly 1 km of precision, is never written to permanent storage, and never leaves your device.
The app contains no advertising, no analytics, no tracking, no third-party SDKs, no accounts, and no in-app purchases. It does not transmit any information over the internet. Game progress (passport stamps, stars, streaks) is stored only on your device.
Compass Quest is designed for children aged 8–12. Because the app collects and transmits nothing, there is no personal information of any kind processed from any user, child or adult.
