1. Introduction

Caption Master AI is a fast, colorful iOS game where you try to out-caption on-device AI. Pick a photo, write a short caption, and see how closely you match the AI’s understanding.

Why it’s different: All AI runs on your device using Apple frameworks. No uploads, no accounts, no tracking.

Requirements

Install & First Launch

  1. Download Caption Master AI from the App Store.
  2. Open the app from your Home Screen.
  3. When prompted, allow Photo Library access so you can select images. Nothing is uploaded.

3. How to Play

  1. Choose a Photo — Tap Choose Photo and select any image from your library.
  2. Write a Caption — Enter a short, creative line (e.g., “Doggo vibes”). Press Enter to submit.
  3. Compare with AI — On-device Vision & Natural Language generate an AI caption.
  4. Get Scored — You’ll see a score from 0–10 based on semantic similarity.
  5. Track Progress — Check the chart to see how your scores evolve over time.

Can’t select photos?

Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Photos > Caption Master AI and allow access.

Scores seem off?

The system checks semantic similarity—different words with similar meaning can still score well.

Charts not updating?

Charts show trends over multiple rounds. Play a few and check again.
